Don CeSar Beach Resort Hotel
Eric's Grandma and Grandpa Shevchik wanted to host this year's wedding in their home city of St. Petersburg, Florida. Joining us for the celebration were Eric's mom and dad as well as his sister, Jennifer, and her husband, Greg. We stayed at The Don CeSar Beach Resort & Spa, the pink palace on St. Pete beach, and rented a sporty convertible to zoom around the beach community.
We dressed in 1940s attire and had the ceremony in a beautiful courtyard on the grounds of the hotel overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
Grandpa had arranged for the pastor of his church to perform the nuptials, and Grandma and Grandpa treated everyone to dinner in the four-star hotel dinning room following the service. Grandma had a wedding cake made, complete with a golfer and a dancer on the top. We enjoyed a fun, family-filled anniversary in the Sunshine State.
