Anniversaries 11-20 (2005-2014)
As the second decade of marriage dawned it brought a larger family, a busier work schedule, and another great variety of states.
2005 - Minnesota
We saw A Prairie Home Companion live, spent a night in jail, met the Jolly Green Giant and got married at the mall.
2006 - Oklahoma
We shopped for western wear, searched for Julie's childhood home, saw a show at OU and took a canalboat through downtown OKC.
2007 - Iowa
We visited the Bridges of Madison County, toured a windmill in Pella, played baseball at the Field of Dreams and drove the Mississippi River.
2008 - Delaware
The Cape May - Lewes Ferry, Cape Henlopen, lots of towers, Old Swedes' Church and the du Pont family.
2009 - Alabama
The Grand Hotel on Mobile Bay, the USS Alabama, Mr. Smith, spa/golf day, many big meals, and Gulf Shores.
2010 - Ohio
Flying with the boys, World's Largest Horseshoe Crab, four generation celebration, Cousins, and a Greek interlude.
2011 - North Dakota
Road trip, Teddy Roosevelt, Enchanted Highway, Cold War missiles and the World's Largest...
2012 - Tennessee
The Hermitage (x2), Beale St., Gibson, Shiloh, Jack Daniel's, baked beans, The Grand Ole Opry, the Parthenon (again!) and a walk down memory lane.
2013 - Rhode Island
Roger Williams, Waterfire, Mr. Potato Head, Castle Hill, Block Island moped and sailing on an America's Cup winner.
2014 - Nebraska
Boys Town, steak, North Platte Canteen, Bailey Yard, Chimney Rock, Carhenge, Belmont Railroad Tunnel, and a Valentine renewal.
